Meet The Director

Scott - Director

Hi, my name is Scott -

After more than a decade in the security industry, I realised I wanted to do more than just protect people—I wanted to support them in building better lives. My experience taught me how to stay calm under pressure, assess situations quickly, and advocate for people in challenging circumstances, skills that became invaluable when I transitioned into community services.

Since 2013, I’ve worked in drop-in services for people at risk, supporting individuals facing housing instability and homelessness. This experience deepened my understanding of the challenges people face and strengthened my commitment to helping those most in need. My background in security equipped me with emergency response skills, ensuring safety and protection in crisis situations—tools that proved just as vital in frontline community work.

Through my time in homelessness and housing support, I found joy and meaning in working directly with people, empowering them to regain stability and independence. Wanting to take this further, I pursued Cert IV in Community Services and Cert IV in Mental Health to formalise my knowledge and build a stronger foundation for making lasting change.

Supporting individuals and families leaving FDV is something I take seriously. Rebuilding life can feel overwhelming, but no one should do it alone. I focus on creating a safe, supportive space to regain stability and confidence. At 6’4”, I might seem intimidating, but I’m quiet-natured and a bit of a teddy bear. My goal is to ensure people feel safe, heard, and empowered to move forward.

For the past two years, I’ve been dedicated to NDIS support, helping individuals take control of their journey and access the services they need. That passion led to the creation of Serenity Recovery Coordination, where I focus on empowering participants, advocating for choice and control, and ensuring transparency in the NDIS process.

I’m particularly passionate about justice—I know the NDIS can feel overwhelming, especially with media reports of fraud and companies taking advantage of people. That uncertainty can make it difficult to trust the system or know where to turn for support. My goal is to help people find the strength to advocate for themselves, understand their rights, and connect with the right services that truly align with their needs. Every person’s journey is different, and I’m committed to providing the guidance, trust, and support needed to navigate the system with confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active—I’ve trained in Strongman in the past and still love hitting the gym. I’m also a big fan of movies and TV shows, especially sci-fi, because there’s nothing like a good story that makes you think. Good food is always a plus, and I love spending time with my partner, our greyhound, and our cat—both of whom bring a lot of personality to the household.

If you’re ready to take the next step or have any questions, I’d love to hear from you. Reach out today, and let’s work together to navigate your NDIS journey with confidence!
